Real USGS earthquake depths --- bimodal: shallow crustal (<30km) and deep subduction (>100km), ~77k M4.0+ events 2020-2024 (USGS ANSS ComCat)

Interpretation

Standard analysis sees: right-skewed; multifractal. The atlas finds no named structure, but the source is distinctively extreme on Spirograph:gear_rationality (-3.2z) — beyond what the standard bank predicts for it. It sits beside Multiplicative Cascade in the atlas (standard-bank rank 25) — a neighbor conventional features miss.
