What It Is

MGH/Marquette ART channel. Real ICU arterial blood pressure (mmHg) at 360 Hz, 3 recordings concatenated. Sharp systolic upstroke + dicrotic notch on each cardiac cycle.

Interpretation

Standard analysis sees: red spectrum (low-frequency / 1-over-f power); low-complexity (predictable, not noise-like); time-irreversible (sharp rises, slow decay). The atlas finds no named structure, but the source is distinctively extreme on Bispectrum:coupling_frequency_centroid (-4.5z) — beyond what the standard bank predicts for it. It sits beside Rössler Hyperchaos in the atlas (standard-bank rank 96) — a neighbor conventional features miss.
