What It Is

Real sea-surface displacement from CDIP buoy 067 (Harvest, CA) --- 1.28 Hz vertical heave dominated by long-period Pacific swell: smooth, narrowband, strongly autocorrelated (public domain, CDIP/Scripps). Falls back to a synthetic swell if the data file is not staged (tools/fetch_cdip_swell.py)

Interpretation

Standard analysis sees: anti-persistent; high-dimensional / space-filling. The atlas finds no named structure, but the source is distinctively extreme on Septagonal (Danzer):z_conjugate (+2.9z) — beyond what the standard bank predicts for it.
