Real USGS catalog re-emitted as a time-ordered events-per-bin rate (~2.2h bins, 2020-2024 global M4.0+). Unlike Earthquake Magnitudes (a heavy-tailed time-IID marginal), the count rate preserves the Omori build-up/burst clustering of the canonical natural SOC process, landing it in the atlas's bursty/SOC neighborhood (Forest Fire, Multiplicative Cascade, Rainfall, Solar Flares). Borderline intermittent/avalanching.
